Signing up for NJEA Membership
Joining the Union City Education Association will mean that you are also joining the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA), The National Education Association (NEA), and the Hudson County Education Association (HCEA).
*IMPORTANT* – For your start date, put the 1st of that month and current year otherwise they will backdate you for your dues.
- First time joining, you will choose “I am a new member”
- Been a member of NJEA before, you will choose “I am a member transferring from another district”
If you have that membership card, you can enter the number from your card. If you don’t have a card leave it blank.
Your user sign-in will be the number on your NJEA card which will come in the mail. Your password is the last 4 of your social.
The application is through NJEA. The easiest way for you to join is to use our online application, which you can find at <https://www.njea.org/join>
